On Oct. 9, 2008, just after coming within 25 kilometers (15.6 miles) of the surface of Enceladus, Saturn’s sixth largest moon, NASA's Cassini captured this stunning mosaic. It discovered that geyser-like jets spew water vapor and ice particles from an underground ocean.
