Could somebody with Ancestry tell me the name of the wife of Ernst Hein on this record? Looks like her maiden name will be Schoen but I can’t quite make out the first name. Thank you!

Need help finding a birth and/or death record for my great x3 grandfather. Supposedly he was born in Germany but it’s possible he could’ve been Dutch or Scandinavian. I have no info on his parents. He lived in southern Illinois after immigrating to the US. I’ve been looking for YEARS.

Is this name thing common for German ancestry or is this something that someone messed up? There are no consistent surnames, just the person’s father’s names with “en” or “s” added on the end

Need some help with the wife Elisabetha’s maiden name in this German marriage record. I know for a fact it ends with “in” since it’s Latin and a woman’s name (Please note that German and American cursive aren’t the same, I need a German transcription)

[German>English] This is a baptism record but I’m having trouble understanding who is deceased. Eius Relicta = his widow, so with the “posthumus” thrown in there is it saying the baptism happened after the father’s death? Or did the baby also die?

Any idea what this first name is? Germany 1846. I’m thinking something along the lines of Clementis but I could be very off.

This is a baptism record of my ancestor from 1701 in Germany. All of the records are written in Latin and I’m having a terrible time transcribing and translating. Any help would be appreciated. Can you pick out the parents from this mess? The child’s name is Joanni Georgij Leitschuh
