Lately, it's been really frustrating dealing with Reddit's moderation. Just yesterday, I was banned, appealed it, and they admitted it was a mistake on their part. Then today, I saw that u/wil24x7 got banned for sharing a post about a "Hamas soldier firing at a blindfolded person". Reddit claimed it violated Rule 1 about glorifying violence whereas it was not at all glorifying violence instead showing the truth. But it’s hard to understand why the same rule doesn’t seem to apply consistently across the site. There are plenty of other subs where violent content is still allowed. I’ve had similar experiences before as well. It feels like Reddit has an issue with certain types of content and will ban without hesitation if it doesn’t align with their views. I’m starting to feel like Reddit admins are biased and only care about content that fits their own agenda. What really disappoints me is how untransparent they are with moderation. If you get banned and appeal, but then get denied, there's no real way to contact admins and explain your side. That’s what really bothers me about Reddit. These are just my personal thoughts based on my own experiences. Reddit we expect you to do better this platform is for everyone!
