Just Applied, any advice?
Hi all! I just applied to whole foods last night and I was wondering what to expect. Are they strict with hiring people?
I’ve got a decent amount of experience in other places. Up until recently I was a hostess, I also volunteered at a center which had a pantry for a while, I worked in guest services at a museum, and also have an internship that requires entering things into databases.
I was hoping to get a cashier job, just because I am very social and I love making puns and small talk. I also would love a whole foods job because of the food discount (which would be a miracle for my groceries).
Are there things that you wish you were told before applying? Anything that might get me a leg up? And how is working at wholefoods? I don’t know anyone that works there, and the way i’ve gotten most of my jobs was from knowing someone. Would not knowing anyone greatly decrease my chances of getting it?
