What if New Viktor could evolve teammates?

So I was thinking about the new Viktor, and a sudden realization struck me.

Hey, Ornn can upgrade people's items. What if a similar gameplay mechanic can be applied to Viktor where at a certain point in the game, he can evolve your champion increasing his stats and changing his visuals. You'll still be very much in control, but essentially game gives you a free skin just for playing with Viktor.

But that's impossible because there's so many champions in League, how are they going to design every champion in evolved form?

Enter Viego. His passive already let's him become another champion, even look like their ghostly version so yeah that's the idea. What do you think?
