Why I don't trust AI

So I logged into ChatGPT and went to the Scholarly GPT chatbot and asked it about pardons issued by Joe Biden. It asked me to allow it to connect to sider.ai so that it could use that knowledge, too. Then it literally told me that it did not know about Joe Biden's last minute pardons. What the actual duff?
