Dilemma
When someone late cancels or no shows, I will waive the fee if we are able to find time to reschedule within the same week. recently I’ve had the experience when I offer a client other open sessions later in the week to reschedule, they don’t respond, and then the day of the “open session” sometimes an hour before, other times 10 minutes before, they email me saying “Yup that sounds good!”. Yesterday I had signed up for an exercise class because a client never responded and then when I saw that email 20 minutes before offered session, my heart sunk. It almost makes me not want to offer additional reschedule times so I don’t have to be waiting on clients to respond. It sort of feels like a pattern of being disrespectful of my time, although this tells me I need to rework my boundaries or communication.
