Fantasy or Historical themed books related to first time mother

I am looking for a book/s as a gift for a friend:

• She loves fantasy, periodic times, Scotland/England/Irish cultures
• Some of her fav. authors and books are: Narnia, Harry Potter, Stephen King, classics Austen, Bronte etc.
• She had a difficult first pregnancy and is now a mother to a beautiful little girl. Are there any good books related to fantasy and motherhood?
