Ramshot Tac

After my last post, and reading through everyone's replies, and then going down a rabbit hole on temperature sensitivity, and consulting my limited loading manuals, I've settled on Ramshot Tac. I'll probably buy as much as my budget allows which will probably only be a few pounds, unless I get reckless, lol.

The only suitable powders that will be available to me to buy this weekend are H4350, CFE223, H335, Tamshot Tac and Win748. This is also my limiting factor as I'll be road tripping to visit my parents and this is what that Cabelas has in stock. Powder options in my area, lower NY, are pretty much limited to one place I know of, and it isn't cheap at all.

It seems that Ramshot Tac meets my needs and is a bit cheaper than H4350, while still being the most temperature stable of the double based powders I can get. As well as feeding well through my Lee powder thrower.

So I plan on using it to load: 5.56 55g-77g loads for AR's. .308 150g-180g loads for AR308 and my Garand Expert Grade.

I'm gonna hold off on .30-06 loads for now until I get more settled in. But plan on using accurate 2520 for garand plinking loads eventually.

And then maybe eventually start getting into some of the extruded single base powders like varget to load up precision loads for the 5.56, .308 and my .30-06 bolt gun.

I guess my question to all of you is this, does this all sound logical? Is there something I've not considered that I should? Opinions welcome! Thanks again everyone!
