An unpopular opinion (from what I see) about Jack Marston
I see a lot of people speculating about the next protagonist of the next game in the franchise, however, I rarely or very superficially see how people completely exclude the literal successor protagonist to John Marston.
I think the idea of Jack Marston being the next great protagonist of the franchise is very logical, he is a character with so many complexities to be explored, he is a great successor to John and Arthur, literally being an "evolution" of these two characters, both in lore, as for personality, he seems to have a very captivating personality and we already know that he is very intelligent, with a likely outcome as a writer, and the entire story focuses on him.
Even with all these qualities (that I can see), people seem to discard this character, preferring Dutch, Callanders Brothers, Charles, Sadie and even preferring to discard a sequel and start something else.
I would honestly think it was rude and cowardly for them to throw this incredible franchise they built into the trash simply because of a lack of courage or creativity to create a sequel, not that they don't want a sequel but rather, they would like to create an outcome.
