My 5th week in real estate

New year new beginnings, First two days just spent with family Third day I contacted my co agents asking if I could hold an open house for them. One let me hold their listing for Sunday & another being the top producing in my area, let me shadow them for Saturday. Thursday and Friday did Instacart and gave out business cards.

Saturday came and met up with my top producing agent. It was from 12-2 and I learnt a lot during the open house. She brought in 15 people, I’ve never seen this many people come and go. so I asked her what she does to bring this many people, Told me most of them come from real estate websites and how they pop up as open house for that day, which has me questioning why I don’t get the same results. I give notice to the listing agent to put OPEN HOUSE NOTICE on the MLS so it’ll stand out but I only get 1-2 people per open house and they come from my signs it was a fun day and learnt a lot from her so I’m grateful to be able to be near the top producing agent and learn a few things from her.

She also mentioned when she first started, she did back to back open houses. Going to do that next week because I Do see the potential it has starting out in this business. but this snowstorm could mess my whole schedule up because I have a terrible car NOT built for snowy conditions😭

Sunday held another open house. during the open house I followed up with potential clients and one of them was still very interested in the house. Told me he was going to talk to his lender and call me back sometime this week and would like to check it out with his family. Brought nobody this open house but making that call made me feel like I had a successful day.

For next week, i plan on running more ads, make more house videos, try the back to back open house method and keep trying new things any ideas would be great!!!
