The difference between Muslims and Christians in Europe and America ?

European Muslims (especially British Muslims) are more practising than their American counterparts while for Christians in the West, it's the opposite. The American Christians (especially those in the South) are devout while Christians in Western Europe are more secular and irreligious being culturally Christian at best. Why do you think this is the case?
