Is the pokeball indicator bugged?

I already have Buizel as a starter, although when I found Floatzel, there was no pokeball indicator. As the wiki said: There is NO Poké Ball if you have NOT caught or hatched this Pokémon yet. Meaning this exact evolution.The only things i didnt have for this particular pokemon was the nature and gender, and from my understanding, it should appear a darkened pokeball instead of none. My guess is I simply haven't catched a Floatzel before, even though I hatched a Buizel. Am I missing something?
