Handyman/woman?

Please can anyone recommend a good handyperson? My previous one was great but he had the audacity to move away 😭 We've just moved house and have millions of jobs that need doing - thought I'd found a good one yesterday, but he's quoted over 600 quid to replace nine curtain poles 🤯🤯
