Full time navy reserve jobs?

Hey guys I’m going to enlist in the navy reserve in 3 days. Is it really true that I can have a full time job through the navy reserve? I want to be an engine man but will I be able to make that my full time job? Or are there other jobs that I can still be on a reserve contract but be able to make a living off of and go to everyday? My only problem is I want to stay in Colorado (where i currently live) I want the military to be my full time job but I want to stay put for my family.
