Childhood Confusions

I very vividly remember hearing people talk about someone "ako na mimba" and knowing that she's expecting a baby. But in my head, mimba meant thorns so I was really confused for some time until I understood 😂

Honourable mention: For those who understand Spanish, I was also confused by Muhíndí (Indian) and mahíndí (bones).
