Poverty is the enemy
Things I’ve done in Nairobi to make sure all my descendants live a comfortable life for sure, seem like story za jaba when I share the experiences . This journey to escape poverty started waay back huko JKUAT juja nkiishi gashororo, Gate E, 5th year of study in my one bedroom house which I used to pay a monthly rent of ksh 2000 and my girlfriend at the time whom I met on a dating site used to be the sole house manager and would pull up during the weekends to clean the house as she was working as a housekeeper at kahawa west before she moved to Saudi Arabia and would send me my first settlement allowance once I got abroad. Came to realise she had 4 children in shamakhokho and I would therefore cut short the relationship. Rewind and comeback, so throughout my campus journey I had asked my parents to stay away from my education financials as I was old enough and would support myself. I made 4 fake IDs depicting I was born in different counties and used to apply county bursaries in all of these counties and this would settle my university tuition fees. So it was an election year and bursaries were not allocated buana . Let me tell you Maina, ilibidi nimevaa Suti nikapiga expensive perfume na nikachukua Uber to a club in kilimani ordered a beer na nikaacha ndoano inase a cooperate lady. I later graduated, don’t ask me how 😂😂
