Anyone else feel like they are being cheated/misinformed about this raise?
So my store has been told by the GMs that with this new raise we would all be getting 15 cents for each 10 cent raise we have had in the past added to our hourly rate and every future raise will be 25 cents. There has been no official/bulletin post that I've seen from General Office breaking down how it's going to work, so we just have to trust the GMs. I'm now finding out that I am getting a $1 raise after 8+ years at the store, which is the same amount someone else who has been here for 3 years is receiving. How does that make ANY sense? $1 doesn't even add up to all the raises I've had in the past. And I hear the 10+ year Team Members are maxed out at an additional $1.20. The longer I've been here, the more I've noticed this company punishes you for being loyal to them. How about Menards General Office release ANY official info to Team Members explaining this raise, how they're doing their math, and why we're punished the longer we work for them? We deserve it in writing, not just a "Trust me bro" statement from the General Managers.
