How do you decide whether you should go with points or cash ?

I'm planning to book a hotel in South Korea.

The cost for 4 nights is 570 USD (50000 INR) and cost for 5 nights is 745 USD (65000 INR).

The points for 5 nights stay is 105000.

Part of me says I should use points as Marriott may devalue it. Part of me says I should leverage the Gold status I got now and the 1000 points per night period of booking and go with cash.

P.S.: If I book with cash, I'll get around 11000 -14000 points.
