What should I do with this space?

I have an awkward corner space that's the first thing you see coming upstairs. Unsure of what I can do to fill the awkwardness. The white door is for the pantry. AC intake etc is behind the raised door over the vent. Whatever goes there just needs to be able to be moved easily if access to AC intake is needed. Entering the unit starts with a small landing, then you walk straight to this spot.
