I need advice !

Hi everyone! One of my mom’s coworkers is an older lady who got this kitty (4 month old purebred mainecoon) and is giving him to us for free. We are meeting him tonight and if it’s a good fit we are taking him home ! I’ve owned a cat before but I’ve heard this breed needs more care, if anyone has any food recommendations or good training ideas anything helps :)
