how can i combat soda addiction?
literally one of the easiest and most helpful things i can do to lose weight is legit to just stop drinking soda. maybe i literally have zero will power but just switching to water has been hard. it's not asmongold levels where i gag when i drink water but it's still surprisingly difficult to switch and stop buying soda and idk why.
for example 1 bottle of 2 liter sams cola i have here has a little over 1000 calories per bottle (170 cal per serving, 6 servings per bottle) and i drink 1 of these per day instead of water at all. i've been trying to buy less soda and just buy gallon water to drink instead but wow is it difficult.
my mom always says that we shouldn't waste money on water and we have water at home and and i just need to filter it but that takes extra time and energy but it's literally cheaper to buy bottled water instead of soda. she's changed since but that's always annoyed me a little.
anyway, does anyone who dealt with a situation similar to this with soda and successfully cut it off entirely have any tips/advice? i don't want to do something like switch to diet soda because i don't even really like soda, it just tastes good but drinking it 24/7 in replacement of water has to be terrible for me in many more ways than just 1k extra calories per day. thank you in advance
