proof Jesus was a prophet. to all Christians

As a Christian who converted to Islam years back, this message is for any of your Christian freinds to prove them that Jesus is a prophet

(Hopefully this helps)

So I been digging in the Bible to check is Jesus is a prophet or not. I thought he was a god like u and I also been bad towards Islam but until I found this, this disapproves everything for me

Answer me this very very clearly with facts in bible and stuff

This is only a 10% of things I have towards the bible literally

*** Literally same thing that Muslim believe ***

(These are the original quotes of the original Bible before it was currpoted years back) and now we have stupid trinity that sh*t don't make sense

Matthew 21:11 And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

Luke 24:19 About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people.

Jesus also fulfilled said prophecies in Deut 18:18: I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

Acts 3:22 Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.

He also performed miracles, which fulfills what a prophet is.

"After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." [John 17:1-3]

Jesus himself is telling you who the only true God is, and it's definitely not him. I was just discussing this with my friends on r/Christianity, and no amount of mental gymnastics can really make the trinity work in light of this verse.

Christianity is a religion about Jesus. But Islam is the religion of Jesus. You decide.

Jesus said the most important commandment is the Oneness of God.

(Mark 12:29)

Jesus said: The Father is the only True God.

(John 17:3)

Jesus said: My Father is greater than I.

(John 14:28)

Jesus said the Father is Greater than all.

(John 10:29)

Jesus said: Why do you call me good? None is good except God alone.

(Luke 18:19)

Jesus fell on his face and prayed to God.

(Matthew 26:39)

Jesus often withdrew and prayed.

(Luke 5:16)

Jesus prayed in the early morning when it was still dark.

(Mark 1:35)

Jesus said he can do nothing on his own, and only does what the Father does.

(John 5:19)

Jesus says he doesn’t speak on his own, and only does when the Father commands.

(John 12:49)

Jesus says he did not come to abolish the law or the prophets.

(Matthew 5:17)

Jesus says he only does the Will of “the One who sent” him.

(John 6:38)

Jesus says his teaching came “from God.”

(John 7:17)

Jesus says He was sent “from God.”

(John 8:42)

Jesus teaches repentance for sins.

(Luke 13:3 and 5)

After Jesus leaves the earth, Peter, a disciple, tells the people that Jesus was a man who did miracles by God.

(Acts 2:22)

Which one makes more sense?

Christianity: Adam (Prophet), Noah (Prophet), Abraham (Prophet), Solomon (Prophet), Moses (Prophet), Jesus (God).

Is God like 'forget it, I'll do it myself' OR

Islam: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Solomon, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad (peace on them all) PROPHETS!

They were all Prophets, from the 1st to the last. That is consistency. Same pattern, same message.

Bro I read a very small part of the bible (I intend to read it entirely for research purposes sometime soon).

First of all, everyone is guaranteed the christian paradise. Huh? So if God himself died for the sins of the people — Then what? What's left to accomplish? You live, you die. No purpose whatsoever. Doesn't matter if you constantly sin.

Furthermore God states that he "rests" in the Bible. What? So God who created Earth and The Universe rests? How can such a powerful being ever get tired?

Genesis 2:2

“By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.”

If that doesn't convince you — What about when the Christian God says that he "Regretted" Creating mankind?

Genesis 6:6 — God regrets that he created Mankind.

But.. An All-Knowing God would already know it's creation and what it would do. And in fact, The bible also says that God knows whatever people will say before it's on their tongue. That's a pretty big contradiction if you ask me...

The bible constantly attributes Human emotions and feelings to God.

And to top it off — The bible literally has incest stories and stories about Prophets getting drunk and doing what not.

Read The Quran and compare the two. They are nothing alike at all.

Yeah specifically God regretting creating us. Genesis 6:6 "And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart."

I don't know how this would work, if he was all-knowing. And anyway a creator would most likely not regret creating something.

God regretted twice in the bible, I know he had regrets about making Saul king in Samuel 15:11.. I mean come on.. How can an all-knowing being keep regretting his actions.. It doesn’t add up or befit the attributes of an all-knowing, all-powerful being..

Matthew 5:17 Jesus said "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill."

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am NOT sent BUT unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (emphasis mine)

Per the christian bible, Jesus never claimed to be the son of god. Jesus never claimed that he was sent to save the world at large, only the Jews. Jesus never said that the law of the Old Testament was to be abolished and Jesus did not introduce the new "salvation under grace" doctrine, Paul the Apostle did. A man who did not even live during Jesus' time. Paul decided to take it upon himself to interpret Jesus teachings in order to appeal to a larger audience.

How can Christians say they are Christians while they don't even follow the bible and follow the churge rules

christians can't claim that morality comes from religion (the bible) when they themselves don't follow all of it

christians can't claim that morality comes from religion (the bible) when they themselves don't follow all of it. it's honestly annyoing how religious christians simply choose what they like from the bible then preach about it. they love to choose love your neighbour stuff and other values like monogamy or opposing divorce. all in the name of judeo christian values. but completely ignore stuff like allowing people to buy and beat slaves (leviticus 25:44-46 and exodus 21:20-21), burning prostitues (leviticus 21:9), marrying rape victims (deuteronomy 22:28-29) or even killing rape victims because they didn't scream for help (deuteronomy 22:23-24). they claim it no longer apply to them but jesus never said that. in fact he claimed the opposite on multiple occasions (mark 7:9 and matthew 5:17).

if you think you can simply choose what you like of the bible then don't be upset when others do the same. by that logic, a christian can be a christian and still be polyamorist or homosexual or divorcee. after all he is doing the same thing as you. picking what he likes from the bible. you can't accuse him of not following the religion or sinning when you do exactly the same. you can't tell others that morality comes from religion when you yourself don't follow the religion fully. people without religion do the same thing modern christians do. they choose what they want from the bible. the difference is that they don't say that morality comes from the religion and that people have to follow it.

So yes enough christianity is fcked and the west is fcked

Also let's not talk about the evil sh*t in the Bible

If the bible is the true word of God Then don't tell me god actually said this.

Do not allow a sorceress to live. (Exodus 22:18)

What are you going to do about that Wiccan down the street? The Bible has given you your marching orders. (Please do not follow them.)

Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel. (1 Peter 2:18)

There was a time when Christians used the Bible’s explicit teachings about slavery as a reason not to abolish the slave trade. What do you do when the Bible isn’t not only vague about slavery but places the onus on slaves to submit to cruel masters?

If she grabs your junk while you’re fighting someone else, show her no pity. (Deuteronomy 25:11–12)

The actual two verses read this way:

If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.

Crimony. Was this a problem that needed a solution? Either way, the Bible clearly gives a solution to this embarrassing problem.

No one who has been emasculated by crushing or cutting may enter the assembly of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 23:1)

Had an accident that impacted your privates? Stay the heck out of the church.

The men of her town shall stone her to death. (Deuteronomy 22:20–21) What do you do if your daughter loses her virginity before marriage? Be careful how you answer—because this is what the Bible clearly says:

If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you.

God encourages the murder of pagan children—and infants (Hosea 13:4, 9, 16)

You shall acknowledge no God but me. . . . You are destroyed, Israel. . . . The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.

It’s kind of hard to maintain a pro-life stance in the face of this clear statement in the Bible. Maybe we should only worry about Christian fetuses?

Let's not talk about Christmas

Like wtf is Christmas

Jesus never celebrated it. We literally celebrate SANTA which is SATAN

Like wtf, people don't celebrate jesus birth no more.

And let's not talk about the contradictions in the Bible it self

But thats for another day
