Dublin airport new liquid rules?
There's been a few articles saying they've installed new security scanners in all of T2 and four scanners in T1 and because of this there's new rules for liquids. With the new scanners you can bring as much liquids as you want in any size bottle and they don't have to be in a plastic bag or taken out of the luggage. Electronics also don't have to be taken out anymore. The articles claim the rules have already changed if you're in T2 or go through one of the four scanners in T1 but I can't find any official Dublin airport info on the rules having already changed. Can only find info saying from October 2025 all scanners will have been replaced.
Has anyone flown from Dublin airport recently and can confirm that if you go through T2 the new liquid rules are in place and there's no restrictions on how much liquids you can bring? This opens up so many more options of bringing stuff back from Ireland when over for shorter visits with cabin luggage.
