Kitchen Lighting Help

Changing this horrible dark dungeon-esque lighting out for something bright and area. Will have fixtures centered over the table, island, and sink. I’m thinking about getting a pendant light for the island and table or just the island and then flush/semi-flush lighting for the sink?? Would love your thoughts!
