Successful L2 stamping in Jamaica as TCN (changed status from H1B)

I recently switched from H1B to L2 status and had a successful stamping at the Kingston Consulate. On the day of the interview, I arrived 30 minutes early. The process was straightforward—I gave my biometrics at one window and had the interview at another window in the same room. The interview went smoothly since I had all the required documents. I also shared my travel plans and requested expedited passport processing, and they provided me with a slip, letting me know I could pick up my passport in two days.

During my trip, I stayed at the ROK Hilton in Kingston and had a pleasant experience. Jamaica is a beautiful place with warm and friendly people, but it’s always good to stay cautious.
