Looking for the perfect spring reverb.

For my living room setup, I recently got a Carr Bel-Ray amp. I love it. The only thing it's missing is reverb. With that in mind, I've been looking for the best reverb pedal, but I wanted to keep it basic. I am not looking for tons of capabilites to go deep and get weird, just keep it simple. I have a huge jam space with a whole pedal board for the getting crazy, so for the living room, just the basics. Been watching lots of videos, and I thought this endless summer would be it. It is not it. This pedal was incredibly disappointing. It just sounds like a reverb tank is shaking while I play. I got a Lateral Phonics Seamark on the way. What would you recommend?
