Google Workspace Email - How does it cope with spam?

Hi,

My company currently uses a small hosting provider for our emails. The email address that is listed on our website causes a lot of spam emails to that account. We currently use Thunderbird as the desktop client.

Does Google cope better with this sort of spam or would they both be similar?
