Staying up to date with current trends, software, techniques, terminology, etc.?

Iver been a designer for years now and am still looking for a job. I feel like I'm kind of out of the loop, especially with the new Adobe app features and newish industry apps. Is there a website or book that anyone recommends?

I'm planning to practice more on Figma and Procreate. Are there any specific apps/software (Adobe or otherwise) I need to add to my skillset?

Sort of related, but how was the Adobe Max Conference this year?
