How to feed myself with 50€ a month?

Hi... well... You guys have any tips on having enough food and nutrition with 50€ for 30 days?

I mean.. I could go with potatoes only and I can narrow that to less than 50€.. but I am not sure if that would be healthy though... I just need advice for my next 30 days.. hopefully..

Vielen Dank im Voraus :)

Edit: I will reply all later. And I will write a summary later, in case it might be useful for others in similar situation

First of all, thanks for all the replies. I think it is enough to get me going!
However, I made a summary here in case some people got in similar situations.

SUMMARY (STILL IN EDIT)

General Advices

Eat Cheap and Healthy: Pay attention to advices on how to eat cheap and healthy, example from: https://www.reddit.com/r/EatCheapAndHealthy/

Price per Kilogram: If you mind about the price in €/KG, don’t forget about the amount of content after cooking. Example:

  • Boiling 100 grams potatoes will result in around 90-100 grams potatoes
  • Cooking 100 grams of rice will result in around 300-330 grams of cooked rice

Nutritions. Don’t forget to have enough nutritions to prevent unwanted medical issues. (Example: Scurvy)

Resource and Food Preservation. Consider the resource, time and energy required to cook the foods. The food may be cheap, but be wise with time and energy management.

  • Make sure to buy foods that you have the equipments to process them. If you have oven, you can bake, if you have freezer, you can freeze.
  • You can cook once a lot, and preserve the food, and warm it later if needed

As suggested from: StomachCurrent8334

  1. Cooking for longer It isn't that much more energy if you don't boil at full blast the whole time. Bring the water to a boil with your cookstuff already in there and then simmer on low afterwards.
  2. Boil more stuff at once and reheat stuff as needed. The larger volume during cooking loses less energy because it has relatively less surface area, compared to multiple smaller batches.
  3. Soak beans/lentils overnight. You can reduce the cooking time from over an hour to less than 20 minutes. There are also varieties (red lentils) that cook in the same amount of time as pasta.

Satiety. The feeling of fullness, or satiety, is affected by several factors. The general advice is to get food with higher satiety index to feel more “full” for a longer time

  • Get foods with high water content and high fiber content
  • Proteins are also prolong the “fullness”
  • Get foods with lower glycemic index to prevent high spikes in blood sugars.

Local or Community Assistance. Get foods from “institutions” or “organizations” that focus on saving foods.
