Is Cataclysm worth it?

Basically, I got 35-100% on Cataclysm fairly easily. However, I absolutely SUCK at the first wave, to the point where I maybe get through it once every 10 attempts, which is really demotivating. My question is, should I go for it anyway? I might end up getting consistent, and it probably won't take long to get to 35 and potentially fluke it from there, if I'm lucky.

For context, I have only beaten one extreme (Acu) and my 2nd hardest is CraZy III.
