My thoughts on old man consequences

I have a feeling this fishing gator is some kind of god Let's look at the evidence First off at least to my knowledge he doesn't have a real explanation The only spirit I know of with a connection to gators is the exact opposite of this man so we don't have a name for him if he is a spirit

Second he straight up rips the vengeful spirit away from William to tell them to "leave the demon to his demons , rest your own soul there is nothing else" Basically telling them to let afton go to hell and let the natural order of things happen Sounds like advice a religious person or possibly a god disguised as a normal person would give you

And he is canon He's present in ucn and he talks to the vengeful spirit He's an entity that exists somewhere in the universe and he just appears to those who have gone too far to comfort and advise them He's a malevolent entity

This is probably just me

But if you have any evidence supporting or going against this please let me know I'm not really caught up with the books so maybe there's something that mentions him Idk
