American Pro ii Telecaster - Most versatile guitar I've ever had
I've owned way too many les pauls and strats, never gave the telecaster a chance. Always thought the tele was for country, I was so wrong. I can do more on the tele than I can on an HSS strat and Les Paul and I'm a die hard LP fan, well... used to be.
Just started collecting pedals, can't wait to collect a few more and build a homemade board.
The AM Pro ii series is my personal favourite. I think there's no "better" guitar even the MIM and Jap models are special. Had the Ultra 2 before this and really enjoyed how easy it played but the neck was a little bit too thin for my hands for playing awkward chords and barre chords, fingers would cramp up fast. I play rhythm and occasionally will jump in for a lead if I'm feeling confident enough so this deep C neck seems like it fits the bill very nice. The VMod pickups sound really nice too.
Next pedal will be either overdrive or whammy still deciding what's more important. Sold a lot of my gaming stuff to be able to afford this guitar with the pedals and power supply, absolutely no regrets. When the gf is busy I got something else I can play with now. Not sure which one turns me on more but don't tell her that
