Facebook permanently disabled me with no appeal option
Last Sunday August 18th, I was notified by friends that my account was hacked because someone was posting items for sale on my page. I did not make those posts I went to login and found that I was kicked out of my page email address and password were change. After several attempts, I was able to change the email. Then I got the notification of them disabling my account. I uploaded my drivers license for identity verification, and when I was going through and reversing the changes the hacker made then the page automatically refreshed saying that my account is permanently disabled, and I cannot appeal this due to, violation of community standards of fraud and deception. I did not commit for all it was the hacker. I’ve tried the EU form I became meta-verified on my Instagram. I’ve opened countless tickets. Keep being told the same thing saying they cannot help me. The last person on verified told me that they can’t manually appeal for me because my Facebook was not verified. I’ve been a member for almost 20 years with no trouble. I’ve filed a complaint with Md attorney general. I am waiting to hear back.
UPDATE: MD ATTORNEY GEN RESPONDED ASKING FOR URL AND BRAND NEW EMAIL NOT ASSOCIATED WITH META. FINGERS CROSSED.
FINAL UPDATE: I received an email from Facebook with the password reset code on my brand new email AND I AM BACK! Only took 3 weeks. I know many other people it has been way longer. Regardless if it took 3 weeks or 3 months, it should not have been this hard!
