I designed a Disney Princess in the style of the first CGI Princess movies based on the tale of Donkeyskin
Name: Celestellé of _________(French kingdom)
I miss the way Disney made Tangled and Frozen animation and story wise and I wanted to revive that in my imagination.
I figured her personality is reserved and intellectual but with a soft inner side, she often gets into fights just by stating her opinion and prefers to be alone with her books. Definitely no adorkable stuff and she'd have a french accent and a lower voice, a darker tone singing voice too. She feels detached from her surroundings and doesn't feel like a princess or sense of belonging. She'd later have a black starlight dress.
Original Tale: Once upon a time, there was a king who had a beautiful wife. She was so beautiful that the sun and moon were jealous of her. When she died, the king was so sad that he wanted to marry again, but only someone as beautiful as his wife.
The only woman in the kingdom who was as beautiful as the queen was her own daughter. The king decided to marry her, but she was so horrified that she went to her fairy godmother for help.
The fairy godmother told her to ask the king for a dress made of the color of the sky. The king got her the dress, but she asked for another one, this time the color of the moon. And then she asked for a dress the color of the sun. The king got her all three dresses, so the fairy godmother told her to ask for a donkey skin.
The king had a donkey that produced gold coins instead of droppings. The donkey skin was very precious to the king, but he loved his daughter so much that he gave it to her.
The princess ran away from the castle and hid in the forest. She found a hut and lived there as a servant girl. She wore the donkey skin to keep warm, and everyone called her Donkey Skin.
One day, the prince of the kingdom came to the forest and saw Donkey Skin. He fell in love with her, but she was too ashamed to tell him who she was. The prince got sick with love for Donkey Skin, and the king told all the women in the kingdom to bake a cake for the prince, hoping he would fall in love with one of them.
Donkey Skin baked a cake too, and she put a ring in it. The prince ate the cake and found the ring. He told the king that he would only marry the woman whose finger the ring fit.
All the women in the kingdom tried on the ring, but it didn't fit any of them. Then Donkey Skin tried it on, and it fit perfectly. The prince was so happy that he married her, and they lived happily ever after.
Any input on this character and what adaptations you'd make to the plot etc?
