Who else thought despicable me 4 was disappointing?

I’ve always known the series for having a proper plot with connection and emotion to the characters, along with jokes that even adults laugh too. Despicable me 4 was a hard watch for me as it seemed like they were trying to hard to make the audience laugh with so many poor jokes every scene with a basic plot. Before you all say that the humor is meant for younger audiences, (which partially it is) I encourage you to watch the first two movies and compare it to the fourth as they were remarkably better in every aspect.
