Risk or wait to ask

About a month ago I met up with a friend of mine who I’ve been attracted to ever since we met. I asked her to drive vegas for the weekend and she did, I wasn’t expecting anything I just thought it would be fun. When she got there things definitely fell in my favor to say the least. We both went our separate ways after the weekend but we got a lot closer in more ways then one. We kept in contact about as well as we could. She said she had a lot to think about, and so did I, because we didn’t know our feelings for each other. We talked after a week of being alone and she explained how I am great and she doesn’t want me to change but she knows she needs someone more dominant and someone to push her. After that conversation I wasn’t sure what to do but now she’s back from school and I saw her the other night we went to dinner with our friends and I met her brother. At dinner she kept eyeing me and she just seemed really happy to be with and around me. I want to be with her more just to kind of strengthen the friendship so I can fingers crossed become more than friends. I don’t have high hopes but I’m not hopeless. Realistically should I try to have one on one time with her or just stick to seeing her with mutual friends for now. Thank you for your time
