A man kissed me without permission

I want to know if it's okay to kiss without permission or am I overreacting. I met this man online and we talked for a few days, after which we went on a date. We spent about two hours together, and he wasn't really my type, so I didn't want him to touch me.

At the end of the date, I said I had to go to work, but he came up to me, grabbed me tightly and kissed me. To be honest, I was in shock, he also tried to catch not only my lips, but also my neck, while squeezing me tightly. I was very upset and after that I tried to leave him as soon as possible.

The next day, I blocked him without explanation. Do you think I'm overreacting ?
