What caused the ''fear'' of teenage relationships with small age gaps in the last years?

Totally different type of question:

Before, like even 10 years ago, or actually even 5 years ago, age gaps like 16-20 used to be completely normal. But now people consider it 'pedophilia and grooming', but they think 18-50 is fine because they're ''both consenting adults''. They turned wrong right into wrong and wrong into right. The age of consent is often even under 18 but people still say ''wait until 18''. And the argument they have is: ''18 is fine because then he/she can make porn''. So did porn cause all this? It is the infantilization of teens. What has caused all of this?
