Error or Successful Purchase/Backorder?

From Vancouver here. I went on Memory Express to purchase a 5080 and the website kept freezing and giving me the error message. After 30 minutes, I was able to put it into my cart even though it said “out of stock”, and I went on to input my credit card information and clicked the purchase button.

My credit card was charged for the 5080, but the website says it’s “on hold”. I selected courier service so it wouldn’t make sense for it to be held at a store for pickup. Is this a mistake on their part and I didn’t actually purchase/preorder one or does it just mean I’m on backorder?
