Anyone concerned about marriage equality being overturned?

My partner and I are deeply in love and plan on marriage. However in the current political climate we have talked more about moving up our timeline just in case we’ve also talked about getting mutual power of attorney.

I think we’re worried about

  1. Not having access to each other in emergencies/if one of us is hospitalized.

  2. Not having the ability to move as a family if one of us gets a work visa elsewhere if we move outside of the US.

  3. Being split up if we have to be refugees.

Amongst a few other things. But I think my worry is that I don’t know about doing it out of reactivity - our plan is to continue to check in and give ourselves a year and a half. How things are going however I’m starting to get nervous
