XREAL One vs One Pro: A Quick Comparison

Hey everyone~🥳

With the XREAL One Pro being showcased at CES 2025, I’ve noticed a lot of buzz around it and many of you have been wondering what improvements the One Pro brings compared to the One.

u/harrybootoo shared a detailed hands-on impression of the One Pro at CES! Check it out here: XREAL One Pro Impressions at CES 2025

Well, lucky for me, I’ve got my hands on a One Pro (it’s not the production version, though!), so I thought I’d share a quick comparison of the One and One Pro to help you decide which one might be the best fit for you!

First off, when it comes to looks, the One and One Pro are already super different. The One Pro features a new optical design and a smaller Sony 0.55” Micro-OLED screen, making it much more compact! This new setup also reduces reflections from the bottom of the glasses, which is a big plu

In the new optical design, the One Pro achieves a 700 nits of perceived brightness, along with an even wider FOV of 57°! Let’s compare it with the One to see how it performs.

In anchor mode, I displayed the same image on both, setting the viewing distance to 4 meters and making the image size exceed the FOV. Since the One Pro has a larger FOV, you can see much more content at the edges of the screen.

Another Point: IPD Compatibility.Unlike the One, which uses software to adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD), the XREAL One Pro comes in two IPD sizes, covering 95% of consumers, (from 57 mm and to 75 mm ), effectively solving blurring and cut-off edges, so no more fiddling around with software adjustments. Just pick the model that fits your IPD!

If you’re not sure what your IPD is, check out this link where I explained how to measure it: What is IPD adjustment for?

And of course, all the powerful features of the One—like the built-in X1 chip, 3DoF, multi-device compatibility, and 120Hz refresh rate—are also supported by the One Pro.

Overall,The new optical design has opened up the possibility for even bigger FOVs( Birdbath Engine's FOV has its limits)

How big do you hope the FOV on 2026 AR glasses will get?
