Titles that I think WWE could introduce or reintroduce in 2025

2024 was a banner year for new championship introductions for WWE. In April after WrestleMania, WWE introduced two team championships, the world tag team titles for Raw, and the WWE tag team titles for Smackdown. the results for those are mixed, the world tag team title being underwhelming so far but the WWE tag team titles are doing pretty decent (sidenote the tag team division needs to step up in 2025). the biggest topic however was the women's division. after years of the women's division in all 3 brands not having any mid-card titles, WWE finally stepped up by introducing three titles, the NXT Women's North American Championship, the Women's United States Championship (won by Chelsea Green, rightfully so, congratulations), and the Women's Intercontinental championship. Finally, the women can compete for more than one title in WWE. Plus, like their men's counterparts, they can used as a workhorse title and a stepping stone to the top titles (NXT Women's Championship, Women's World Championship, WWE Women's Championship). We also got the Speed titles this year as well, which is a perfect way for those to step up and then compete for other titles.

2025 looks to be an amazing year for WWE, with Netflix being the new home of Monday Night Raw in the us and other countries as well as the new home for RAW, NXT, Smackdown, and PLEs outside the United States and the CW entering its first full year of airing NXT, etc, the tko owned promotion seems to get better than ever before and even have a bigger year than 2025. a new year also means more possible introductions of titles to the WWE. here are a couple I have in mind that might happen in the new year

European Championship: the European Championship was introduced in 1997 as a Midgard title akin to the Intercontinental title. It gave the lower card talent of the attitude era undercard prizes to fight and a way to capitalize on their European popularity. It also served as a stepping stone for the Intercontinental title. The European Championship is more than just another title; it's a stepping stone to greatness.  In the past, it served as a crucial platform for rising stars to prove themselves and climb the ranks.  Superstars like Edge, Christian, and Jeff Hardy all held the European Championship before achieving main-event success.

Reintroducing this title would create a clear pathway for today's talent to develop and build credibility, ultimately strengthening the entire WWE product. The European Championship can serve as a stepping stone to the mid-card titles like the Intercontinental and United States Championships. By being a lower-card title, it provides wrestlers with a clear progression path, helping them build their credibility and momentum before moving on to higher-tier championships.

Reintroducing the European Championship could also help WWE capitalize on its popularity in Europe, potentially increasing viewership and fan engagement in that region. It would also be a nod to the international nature of WWE's fanbase. Furthermore, many long-time fans have fond memories of the European Championship. Bringing it back could tap into this nostalgia, potentially boosting viewership and merchandise sales. Wrestlers like Ludwig Kaiser, JD Mcdononugh, Chad Gable, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller Santos Escobar, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Shawn Spears, Josh Briggs, Lexis King, and others would be perfect for this. Some tag team partners who separated could use it as their first singles title.

With the roster very stacked and the ic and us titles not being available for everyone to contend, the European title returning can be a great addition for the lower card. The belt can be defended on either WWE show (Raw, Smackdown, NXT).

There could also be a women’s version of the European title for the lower tier women too.  The women's European Championship would create even more opportunities for these incredible athletes to shine and build their own legacies.  It would also allow WWE to showcase its diverse international talent, particularly from Europe, further expanding its global reach. introducing a women's version of the European Championship could similarly benefit the lower-tier women wrestlers, providing them with more opportunities to shine and develop their characters. B-Fab, Candice Lerae, Elektra Lopez, Blair Davenport, Ivy Nile, Maxxine Dupri, Adrianna Rizzo, Lola Vice, and others would be great people for the title

Cruiserweight Championship Title: The WWE Cruiserweight Championship, originally introduced in 1996, has a rich history and has been held by some of the most talented high-flyers and technical wrestlers in the industry. Reintroduced in 2016, it was later merged with the NXT North American Championship in 2022. Its return could bring numerous benefits to WWE's current landscape, from providing more opportunities for lighter wrestlers to enhancing fan engagement.

The Cruiserweight Championship was once held by legendary wrestlers such as Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Jericho. Reintroducing this title would honor the legacy of these icons and reestablish a championship with deep historical roots. It served as a platform for showcasing the incredible athleticism and high-flying abilities of cruiserweight wrestlers, and it can once again provide a similar platform for today's talent.

The Cruiserweight Championship can serve as a stepping stone to mid-card titles like the Intercontinental and United States Championships. By being a title specifically for lighter wrestlers, it provides them with a clear progression path, helping them build their credibility and momentum before moving on to higher-tier championships.

One of the unique aspects of the Cruiserweight Championship could be its flexibility. It could be defended across all WWE brands—Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. This would increase its visibility and importance, allowing for more dynamic and engaging storylines that span multiple shows.

Reintroducing the Cruiserweight Championship could help WWE capitalize on its popularity among fans who appreciate high-flying and fast-paced wrestling. It would also be a nod to the international nature of WWE's fanbase, as cruiserweight wrestling is popular worldwide. Furthermore, many long-time fans have fond memories of the Cruiserweight Championship. Bringing it back could tap into this nostalgia, potentially boosting viewership and merchandise sales.

People like Dragon Lee, axiom, Nathan Frazier, Cedric Alexander, and the newly arrived Penta could benefit from this. The cruiserweight division would benefit from Raw and Smackdown being three hours.

Hardcore Championship: Karrion Kross has said he would love to bring in an extreme wrestling title via an extreme rules tournament. The hardcore title would be a great way to do that. Travis Scott being given one by Triple H seemed to me like a great idea to bring it back.  The title can be won by either men or women on the roster or celebs, politicians, random people, etc all contested under 24/7 rules.

These are the titles I have in mind. What do you think and what others title do you like to see be introduced
