Virgin vs Nationwide joint accounts for rewards

I've read up on both - the "Virgin Money Club M" account and the "Nationwide FlexPlus" account. The price is basically the same (£13 vs £12.50). The rewards are basically the same, with the exception of the Virgin account having gadget cover instead of phone cover, and the Nationwide account having EU breakdown cover too. None of those differences matter to me to be honest. I'm interested in them for mobile cover and worldwide travel cover mostly.

My question is, are there any other differences people can throw into the ring to help separate them? Customer service, app experience, etc. I'm getting the impression it probably doesn't matter which I get. So I'm just seeing if any users have experiences with both and can offer an opinion on which they preferred. Thanks!
