Could Forums, Blog posts, and Emails make a comeback after Twitter bans?

Seeing the Massive Twitter Ban on Reddit and Geeky communities being shifted, it made me wonder Pre Internet Social Media could be a thing to go back to.

Follow Game Company or Sports Company blog posts for example to get your latest News and updates. Notable people in Geeky communities like the fgc or Gaming Insider's can turn to blog posts. Bringing back Email communication is another great way to stay in touch and share discussions with friends. Maybe even dedicated Newsletter or Apps to help even more.

I don't think we need social media alternatives like Bluesky when we can bring back Old School Internet connections. I hate Nazis and Elon, but we don't need social media alternatives when can bring back Old School style Internet 😊
