Manfred is way overturned

This is probably the worst boss I've ever fought in any souls like game, and it seems that's a pretty general consensus. Is there any actual fucking way to beat this fucking guy with the Blunderblade? I'm literally hitting him for probably like 0.2% of his health at level 89. I have 56 in instinct and 40 in dexterity. There's absolutely no reason he should have the amount of health he does.
