Build a Bridge and get over it?

I really like the moss green BC frame. I already have two bikes that cover off all my biking needs- a KM for trail and urban bike related shenanigans and an old Trek 520 rat frame built as a 1x commuter/townie/do-it-all bike. N+1 is not an option so something will need to go, and road and gravel are not required- I’ve tried a Wolverine and Straggler and just ended up back on an mtb inspired setup. I won’t be touring or bike packing, but I like mtb and touring/bike packing bikes because they’re relaxed and robust. I need two bikes for the occasional family bike adventure for my wife to use. She’ll ride anything. I have just about all the parts needed to build a BC including a nice light and strong XC inspired set of 29er wheels. If I swap the 520 for a BC will I gain anything? Is there anyone that uses their BC as a do it all bike?
