Welding/ irritation from work

I work as a welder and I do a lot of angle grinding which produces this metal dust/ shards of little chunks of metal and they get everywhere. Recently I’ve been noticing more irritation which happened to be about the time I started working here and today at work I noticed I have the dust on my ears. What can I do about this, if anyone has any advice on how to prevent this, clean off the metal without irritation, or anything like that I’d really appreciate it. I do wear a face shield while grinding but that doesn’t prevent the chunks from getting everywhere. Any advice would help 😭 Also I know that the irritation isn’t from my care, I use glass plugs, moisturize with jojoba oil and clean with fragrance free mild soap regularly.
