How would you create a gambling addict sim (who mostly loses money)?

I'd like to make a gambling addict sim who loves going to the casino but as an destructive habit rather than a lucrative career. What traits would you choose? Problem is, I've heard gambling is a good money maker in Sims 3, where as I'd like to make more of a struggling addict kinda sim.
