How can I authenticate shoes?

I bought them in a thrift shop for $10, as far as I can tell, they're "AS 250 Adidas World Cup Moments". Online I'm seeing them for anywhere between $200 and $2000... Sorry if this is a stupid question, I know practically nothing about footwear.
